is that your euro?
did you replace the tweeter as well?
you can actually fit 6" speakers with spacer to the front.

im currently getting dynaudio 240gt's fitted in the front. Biggest issue is the mounting depth of the tweet. hmmm
For those of you wanting to run an aftermarket deck (HU) stinger make a complete one din replacement panel that goes where the little door is.
They also do a kit to fit steering whell to alpine to wheel controls, but at $250 its pretty nasty

euro77: its not mine, and tweeter install in original place, with the dynaudio I think the biggest I can go for the front is 220 mk2, unless you got for the GT model like PERTH_EURO mention, but I'm still worry tho, looks like not much room at all . . . . . .
PERTH_EURO: tweeter should be ok in the stock location, u just need to take tweeter off the casing, with the aftermarket replacement panel, are you sure is stinger not best kit ?

If I'm not mistaken, Stinger has a wheel control as well, that might be able to be linked to the current wheel button. And I believe it is cheaper than alpine.

Sorry my spelling and grammar where shite above.
What i was trying to say is that stinger make a kit so that the honda steering wheel controls can be used on an alpine deck.

what I mean is the panel is made by best kits not stinger, but I think in Aus ppl that bring the panel is the same ppl that bring the stinger product, but it doesn't matter anyway who bring them in at least its good now for ppl want to change the H/U the panel its available . . . . .

Hi,
Is the system using the stock Head Unit?
Just ordered a Euro and have been thinking about how it will sound with the stock H/U with after market amps.
Any comments?
Cheers,

yes OEM H/U, the sound is good as long as you are using a good line level converter, I'm using the stinger one,

yeah, OEM H/U is fine, I used it as well with stinger line converter. Sound quality is good playing CD, but playing radio, it's not really clear, probably because of the inbuilt antenna, not as good as normal antenna that sticks out of your car.

You wouldn't want to change the antenna, just think of the drag and air turbulance. :(
A bmw fin might be good :D

The BMW fin would be good, I think it would look good on euro, but unfortunately people will be saying it's a BMW wannabe car LOL
