hey guys got a quick question,

i've done a search already, so i thought i'd brave the question...mite sound stupid...

I installed the mtec HID lightbulbs...all went well...the shit thing is where the highbeam is situated there is a little lightbulb which makes my headlight look funny with white and yellow.

Can this be changed, and if so what type of bulb do i buy...

I think what you mean is the parker bulbs.. It can be easily changed.. Look at your manual, its on page no: 278.. Change the parker bulbs to MTEC white parker bulbs or white LEDs and you should be fine..

this has been covered heaps of times but it is easy

drivers side just stick ur hand down and rotate it and pull it out replace the wedge bulb stick it back in and twist.

passenger side remove the coolant bottle and do the same as the drivers side.

my only question is, how long did you take to put that coolant tank back? lol... It only took me 5 mins to change the bulb, but 30 minutes to put that reservoir back.. haha

i prefer u go with bulbs. not leds. coz leds only max 3 leds T10 can fit in, and it's not bright enough. if u go, lets say 6 leds T10, the head won't fit into ur headlamp (not the socket).

That should be it.. however, if you want a good one, buy the mtec brand shouldn't cost you much.. with the ones on ebay, I bought 1 pair before, and only lasted me 1 month:thumbdwn:...

I use philips t10 bulb. Mtec would be good.as long not LED T10.
un-stable alternator voltage would cause LED life only about a few month.
LED need a very stable voltage.

FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE - Get a rag to lay down there
To remove the bulb u must disconnect the coolant bottle take it out it jsut
lifts straight up put it aside.

get ur hand down there and turn it anti-clockwise
you may want to use a rag cause theyre bastard tight

it should stop, direct it downward then it should be free  pull the bulb out straight

FOR THE DRIVER SIDE
u shouldnt have to remove anything to get it if youve got fiddle hands and strong fingers ;)
same deal anti-clockwise and it should come free

you don't say..... my fingers still hurt :D. Received the MTEC parkers from trader LS here this afternoon and spent like good 30 mins to put them in. Still not sure how I got the coolant bottle back in, guess I was lucky they went right in the first time bcoz I didn't see sh*t :p

anyway, all look good now with the 6000K HIDs

haha yea theyre a bit painful not as painful as in my car lol

gotta undo a screw then pry the parker gently forward trying not the damage
the paint or the light housingm that was the first 2 times i removed them

now its easy as pie, not because its loose but because i found its sweet spot ;)

your T10's body is a lot bigger than usual t10 bulb..... but the one i show u, the body is exactly same size as a halogen t10.

the one u got could fit on your reverse light!
