Just had a quote done for my EM1 interior, for all the panels painted black and armrests re-trimed red fabric= $1500, does this sound reasonable or should i look elsewhere?

diy that $hit up.
i did mine in my eg.just make sure your cleaning and preparation takes 3 times longer than the painting and wrapping and then it will actually be durable.

your paying for the labour in that 1500. as it takes a couple of days to do (pull car apart, clean, prep, paint, wrap, set, clear coats and fabric protector, put car together).its a couple hundred dollars in materials and all the rest is labour.its an ok price i suppose, considering how long it will take

Cheers for the advice. Yeah i think i'll have a go at it, rather spend the other money on wheels or somethin. Think i'll be happier with it too if i manage to do it myself, i'll post pics when its done

Do you have to undercoat the interior or just put on multiple coats or the colour?

undercoat to help the paint stick. use wax and grease remover, then use some plastic primer... then! paint a few coats

DIY!! if u feel confident..i painted my eg interior and re-trimmed the doors in leather..looks sweet..but it takes alot of hours and loads of patience...if only i had more time i could do it for ya and charge about half
