i need advise from someone who's done engine conversions before.
I'm looking at putting a JDM f22b in my accord, theres a place up the road that has the engine but no ECU.
if i was to put this engine into my car, would there be anything else (besides the ECU) that i would need?
where could i get the ecu from?

I have put a JDM F22B VTEC SOHC in a CD5

you have to change the top half of the inlet manifold, and fit the AUDM AC and power stearing mount brakets. also I swapped the thermostat housing and top hose housing.

then use the AUDM ECU that is in your car

What's the difference between the two?

no I just installed it, it was a low Km Jap engine so there is no reson to recon it.

just change the timing belts and oil filter and oil

the engines appear to be the same however the JDM has different stuff on it like EGR, and missing some temp sensors. the top half of the inlet manifold has some differences.

perfomance wise minimal difference
