is the 1996 civic eg = eg6? or not? will it VTi only? with b16a dohc? ... or are there different ones?

Also, when u buy a car with high mileage? for example 300k, but person has said the car has been meticulously serviced, would it be expensive to keep running? will it run smooth? will i have to keep servicing and putting money out to keep the car running good?

And i've been searching about debadging, didn't really find my answer? after u debadge, are there any other ways to fill the two holes instead of going to the wreckers (read it off some other post)

FYI

A "EG6" = a japanese eg hatch (92-95) with a b16a2 engine.

the EG civic ended in late 1995. The EK replaced the EG in late 1995.

A car with high mileage should still run fine as long as it HAS been maintained. IE oil changes every 5-10,000ks and not thrashed. But high k's should be in your favour and a reason for lesser price.

You can fill the 2 small holes with either rubber grommets , fill with putty or the best way is to weld behind the holes and finish it properly
