Need help finding an ozhonda member - ‘Setanta’

After a couple of meetings too inspect the vehicle we came to an agreement on the sale of my 3rd gen JDM civic - http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78545

The car did not start at the time so the agreement involved towing the car to Hannys performance (which I did), seeing if Hannys performance could get it started (which they did) and ‘Setanta’ picking it up from there (which he did). To which, I would then be paid an agreed minimum deposit with the balance of the vehicle to follow.

He now has my car and I have not received any form of payment. I have also not heard from him for 2 months. I have tried to contact him almost everyday via phone, pm & email with no success.

Up till my last sms from him, all his correspondence has been very reliable and he showed genuine knowledge / interest in the car….. so i don’t know whats going on!

I have a name, phone number and what is shown on his ‘ozhonda’ profile page. If you know of any other details so that I can contact this person, know of his whereabouts or can offer any advice please pm me.

It’s a very sad day when you can get ‘jipped’ by a fellow ‘ozhonda’ forum member...... hope i'm wrong.

That’s what I have been telling myself for the last 2 months!
He may have some personal reason but i have not been able to contact him to find out.
If that were to be the case I would be happy to work something out with him.
Mobile number that he has previous contacted me on... connects, rings but have only been put through to his voicemail.

I have been in contact with Hannys Performance and even called them again this morning. The mechanic who was referred to me by ‘Setanta’ knows who he is but has not heard from him since the car was picked up from their workshop!

I suggest taking your issue to the police so they can trace him and find out what is going on

Otherwise this is not to be discussed in a model specific thread on a car forum
