what cars can EK4's munch?

Just wonderin wat cars the EK VTi-R's can beat? I'm reluctant to take on any stock commodores as they are 3.8 litres when compared to a 1.6... any opinions or experiences? :) :honda:

no, i dont mean to say that because i know how to drive - because i dont - that i can beat commodores in my dc2, compared to a ek4.

i am saying learn how to drive. in MOST circumstances, it depends on the driver, on *who munches who*.

this is not to say of course that a tip-tronic set up on a xr6turbo with a 16yrold no experience L plater couldnt beat a profressional drag racer in a eg5si.

yeah run the FTO just hope it aint a GPX or watever it is. ek4 should give commodore's a run for they're money and im assuming fords too

my bros Si could beat v6s...
i dont see why yuor VTiR wont....
its all about the driver...
if you wheelspin too much at the start..and the commo takes you 2-3 car lengths... you'll know the outcome.... BUT..
if you launch and be in front by about a car or so..perfect shifts.. so that every gear is within VTEC... no problems... then again... everyone can race in a straight line..... its on the tracks thats where pure skills comes in... :)

against a FTO... i'll say that would be a tough one =)....
but who knows... if the FTO driver is a shit driver... no problems...

very torquey compared to the civic...

aftermarket airfilters? hmmm i havent had any experience with these. they are really popular amongst car modifiers. whether it is because they actually work and give you 50kw, or because its a great cheap mod is beyond me. afai understand it, they will change ur induction sound, making ur vteck yo growl nicer, and fooling you into believing uve gained the 50kw the box promises :cool:

the n13... i have no idea... but the n14 sss is a pocket rocket. u should be able to *munch* it no problems if youre both equal drivers, and if the n14 is STOCK.

once u start talking about the modded n14 sr20.... u got a WHOLE new car... which should and probably tickle your stock ek4.

Ill beatin all those cars mentioned and thats with a full sound system.. im not that all a good driver but ok.
but yeah u shouldnt have any problems if ur a good driver...good luck and just face it if u loose...

IMO the fun part about racing is not knowing how your gonna compare against the other car, it adds to the addrenaline of it. If you know your gonna beat the car then whats the point??

If you loose just give the other driver a thumbs up and continue on with ur life ;) Your never gonna have the quickest car on the road anyways.

This is all i can think of atm.

But i have been beaten by a commo v6 in the wet cause i got too much wheel spin, a CRX Delsol, probly due to me carrying an extra passenger the fat bastard, a Nissan R33 GTSt, why did that happen? and a DC2r.

I've raced heaps of car with my ek4, and basically the civic can give alot of cars a run for their money, it just depends on how you launch and change gears.

ur right depends on the driver and i have found that when the air is cold it loves to scream... but having to watch my car being impounded one sunday night... makes me agree with one of the first post keep it on the track...

dude, re ftos... i reckon it's a drivers race... i had a good race with a friends version R (ie. best version of FTO)... he got me on launch but from there on it was just even (i was behind but he couldn't pull)...

then again, my car was stock with intake and he had extractors, exhaust, intake and a vafc. *shrugs*.

but seriously, im running a b16a and i take commodores (the v6 variety), quite easily at lights....
I can take my friends gen4 Prelude JDM h22a upto gear 3, then he begins to take me..his car is very very fast for almost stock.. has a big kill list

But there is not much respect in dragging in my opinion.. learning how to shift in succsession is not hard and the car u drive is all according to the money you spend on it..

now full 2.5 zorst on b18c would slam that K... but i dunnoa nything bout the b16a running it.
