out of a EG9 auto
does has any1 driven and owned a auto b16a?
is it 4 speed auto or 5 speed?
how are the gear ratios?
also does it have less power than your average b16a??

danny, i havent driven one but i am sure i read somewhere that an auto b16 has different cams and well isnt as powerful, but could be wrong :zip:

a friend of mine way back when was going to swap in an auto b16 for an auto zc

i rekon itd be OKAY for daily driving etc with a bit of power to make it up hills etc but it wont be as fast as a manual one...
But what trav says is true, they do have different cams...
A guy round the corner from me has an auto EM1 and that seems to go alright...

well so is alot of cars out there that came out in auto, yet my b16a manual gets owned by half of them

The Coupe came in
Gli - D16Y7 Auto
VTi - D16Y8 (sohc Vtec) Manual and Auto
Vti-r - B16A2 Manual only.

mangg im SURE the guy round the corner had one... now ima look like a criminal going onto his property to try take pics of it hahah! if he still has it...
but it could have been a mistake wen i saw it on carsales as i have seen lot of them
