Benen Front Tow Hook

Hi guys.. 2day me and a mate had my front of the car in pieces installing my benen front tow hook..

and tips of how u guys may have done it..

Car is a DC2R BTW...

for my ek4 i had to drill into the front bumper support. i believe ud have to do the same for urs? ( i may be wrong, maybe u have somewhere to mount it but for me it was drilling into the front b support )

yer i did.. but the supplied bolts where not long enough 2 clear the spacers and washers... LOL.. and it a bit dodgy no, 12mm hole in a 20mm intrusion bar... and it still 2 high! Grrrr! :P

btw have u actually used it or intend 2 use it (do they work?).. i actually installed it as i need it this easter weekend as im doing bathurst.. hope they actually work (hope i dont need 2 use them though!!)..

we didnt use any washers? just bought a fkn long ass bolt + nut.. drilled thru the intrusion bar once and hooked it up. we bolted it to the bottom of the intrusion bar. it was an aesthetic thing really.. didnt try towing the car.. prolly need more bolts to do that.. like 4 in total? but whats the chances of ripping off ur intrusion bar from towing the car?

the hook has been taken off already.. too much of a safety hazard? take ppls legs off with that shit
