Hey all,

Im prepping my car for the runs tommorrow night, and im not sure where to start with removing the rear seats.... i got the front part of the bottom of the seat up, but the actual mount is weird, it seems as though there is a lip that faces to the front of the car that goes into that groove in the body....

i need some tips guys, ive treated this car like a baby for the last 8 years so i havent done this sort of thing before

be nice fellas, just need some help

if you're talking about the hinges that goes into the 2 holes towards the front of the car &
if its the sitting bit, you gotta face the seat at an angle wriggle it down a bit and it slides in and i think thats the only tricky bit to it.

i removed my seats it wasnt hard at all.
i think nam (kyobibi) wrote a tutorial somewhere;

i'll find it after this post.

the trick is to remove the two top backrest first,
then lift the rear of the sitting part up, and wiggle it a bit til the two front hinges pop out. if you get me, if not just pm me.

Easy peezy...

Should really take you 5 mins.

Remove the Vertical part 1st. Un-latch the vertical part. Lay it down. On the outsides (closest to the doors) you will see a "C" clip (on both sides) where the seat pivots. Use a long nose plier to remove the "C" clip. Once removed this will alow you the room to push the seats sidewards and out. You can now remove the vertical part.

Remove the Horizontal part. With the vertical part now removed, you can now access a single 10mm bolt that fixes the rear of the horizontal part down. Remove this bolt. You can now lift up the rear of the horizontal part and this will alow you to unclip it at the front. The front is a Z sort of fixture, so a few up and down movements will enable you to take it out.

After that your done. You can now remove the seatbelt buckles if you like.

Good luck.
