It's doubtful you'll see any gains over what the intake cam with.
Best value would be to clean the filter you already have.

from mem the J's filter has like a 5" head filter. Not many brands make that inlet size. Better do as TODA suggested and clean it

K, just buy the K&N filter cleaner, and they will give you instruction on how to to do it.
1.Spray on the cleaner substance (spray up and down on the filter outside and inside) let that sit for a good 10 mins.
2. Hose is off again use the up and down motion
3. let it self dry (do not use a hair dryer)
4. Spray on the oil based substance and let it dry for a good 20 mins. if nescessary use a cloth to remove any wet spots.
then bam its good to go, for this you have to take your time and not rush

That's for oil-based filter. If you even decide to use an apexi pod, you cannot use the cleaner and oil.

two diff typres of pod filters, oiled and dry,
Oiled: each time you clean it, you have to re-oil the filter for it to work.
Dry: Its just dry,,, wash it in some water. and let it dry naturally.
changing filters is going to make negligible difference unless the current filter is dirty,.
J's filter has oversized neck so even if you get an apexi 3inch with the universal adaptor you have to downsize the inlet.
So basically you will just create a restriction over the original setup.
