Personal opinion, if you like seeing your mates cars get stolen from spots at the same places, then go ahead.

Rather, PM instead i think.

I know I hate being spotted.

As if spotted thread has anything to do with it :thumbdwn:

It gives the opportunity to say hello to other honda owners. Its hard enough to get a good mature community going we can barely find out who each of us is.

The honda community is already known for being 'snobby' and there are plenty of reasons for that spotted thread allows us to break that barrier and helps with the social aspect of owning a honda.

seriously...spotted thread is useless and normally its just the same group of ppl who use it.

if you want to form a better honda community come out to meets and socialise with ppl. simple as that.

yeh but if you say... "spot XXX at train XXX station every day" then the person replies "yeah i catch the train to work every day" its telling people where the car is and when the owner will be back.... dodgy info in the wrong hands

thats a positive side to it and I am in 100% agreeance, however we have to mitigate the risks of having a spotted thread.

i.e. spotted xyz parked at this carpark

then mr.xyz says "hey yeah i have uni there mon to fri"

BANG, theif knows where u are, does his groundwork and see what mods he has, then goes for the kill.

This clearly cannot be denied. Lets see what the others say however I dont think the chances of it coming back are high at all.

That's why I'm saying we should regulate it. i.e. do not disclose exact location and only identify the person by suburb, car type and or plates

fly: Of course its gonna be the same people theres only so many regulars on this forum...

To be honest I highly doubt the spotted thread has anything to do with any robberies but I understand that there can be a possibility

I agree with Andre.

This can be done, but as said before, with MAJOR guidelines.

Just the hassle of nubs like OMFG I SAW MR-DCIR PARKED HERE HEZ DERE EVERYDAII!!1one

I say yes, if we can find a way to keep the thief(s) at bay, bring it back.

sounds like more inconvenience then what its worth for a couple of ppl here to say they spotted another honda on the road...woop dee doo.....

but hey...what ever floats your boat.

Wont happen, Mods would be expected to do too much. They do enough as is!

If you want to meet the face of a certain Honda owner, rock up to the meets, or have more meets as fly stated before

Otherwise i doint think its really anyones business of who owns what honda and where they saw it, is there nothing better to do?

The only way a spotted thread would be allowed is if its without the Rego number, location, and time lol

Hence no point in having a spotted thread at all.
