Hi, recently bought a 95' accord for a first car. I took it down to Mr. Muffler and asked about exhaust systems (2 1/4 inch). The guy there advised me to just get a bigger muffler as the accords come stock with a 2 inch and anything more would be ridicously loud... is this true? I'm not really fussed about power increases, just after a deeper sound.

if you are just after a better exhaust note then by far the cheaper and easier option would be to just get a new muffler (i think another accord owner had a lukey and was happy with how that sounded). i wouldent say replacing the entire enhaust to a 2 1/4 would make it unbearable but for your purpose its really not worth it if it doesent need replacing. just dont get a 4 inch cannon or anything stupid like that :)

just get the axle back :)
depending on your budget..
canons are too loud :) not soo deep tone but dronning
depending on the size.. as vinny says..

if u want a deep nice low tone you should get
hi tech, or secondhand 5 zigen, fujitsubo, etc..
they are great, even for 2ndhand
hope that helps bro
