I hit a square gutter last year but that was at collision 40km's around a roundabout, damaged front bar (795), broke a cv joint, replaced a wheel, broke some other stuff total was about $4900, all I can tell you its less than $4900.

I doubt many people would have the same problem cos you hit a footpath =.="
if it can be repaired that'll be best or else you'r looking at a new one and Honda don't come cheap.

to be safe get it inspected.
then get a wheel alignment afterwards if there isnt too much problems.

i've hit the gutters once when they just built it in this alley behind some shops....use to be just flat untill some one decided to pour cement and make 2 little sausage like islands on both sides of the alleyway. i cant remember how fast i was goin but yeah....i reckon i hit it pretty bad but havent got it checked out yet. the car seems to still run fine and i havent notice anything yet from driving but yeah......does it mean i have damaged something?

you've probably bent a lower control arm and maybe the bent the top of your strut. I doubt the middle part of the strut would bend.

possibly domed the top of your strut tower too.

Get it checked out by any performance workshop, this is a good opportunity to get some aftermarket cast rods or lower control arms since a new one from honda will cost the same as a tank of petrol in 1 month.

did you take out a chunk of rubber of that tyre? or did you pierce it?

Basically on the side wall, about 5mm deep and 50mm long and about 20mm wide peeled off the main part of the tyre. Essential where the manufactures logo is.

Its still attached, just separated a bit. I had a good look at it and the actual tyre is intact and fine. Its kind of just cosmetic damage i think.

Anyway i put it on the rear as it was BRAND F**KEN NEW and $300+ so 10 000km its fine.
