I think CW wouldn't suit the FN2. Use a bright white.

give you a red honda badge on your key, i can't believe that the key is a normal one. The optional rear lip should be standard the current lip is a weird jutting piece of plastic and of course LED lights

double wishbone suspension all round. no mcpherson struts or torsion beams. or at least reserve it for the integra replacement.

change the keys for all hondas. they just look too cheap.

And that’s not all. Here are some more Type R achievements from the past 12 months:

* In response to previous Type R customers’ pleas for a more refined, high specification cabin, Honda introduced the GT grade - and a huge 90 per cent of customers opt for this more comfortable, better-equipped Civic
* In sharp contrast, Honda (UK) has sold just one of the stripped-down, lightweight Type Rs (with no parcel shelf, stereo equipment or audio speakers)

DC2 and DC5 were both under 1,200kgs with stereo, parcel shelf and audio speakers. It's the safety items on the FN2 that make it heavier.

Ahh good point,
so what we really want, is a FN2 without all the airbags and impact bars
but still have all the fruit
I wonder if that would still pass safety tests in Europe...
check out this EG vs FK crash test

ahhah no wonder the EG shell is so light

UM.... if im not wrong mcpherson strut is good suspension set up for the front bro. most cars have that now ......... you should only be refering to the torsion beam

At least until you start lowering the car (if it is anything like the DC5R's macpherson strut front)

FN2 Mcpherson strut layout is the same as FD2/FG2
we don't get the same problems as EP3/DC5 did
because our steering rack is located pretty low down almost parallel with the LCA. So we don't get the bumpsteer problem. And FN2/FD2 standard height is pretty low from factory, so we don't get lack of stroke, due to insane LCA angles when lowered.

But despite all that, Double Wishbone front would still be better for cornering performance, simply because they gain camber as the wishbone compress, while Mcpherson does not. Downside is, double wishbone is more expensive and takes more room.

What I don't get is, why people seem so eager to bag Torsion Beam suspension. I havent found a single technical explanation why its worse than multi-link rear.
