Ignition coil. Maybe people have experienced burnt ignition coils after doing a compression test with the coil still having power. Should have taken out the fuse before doing the compression test.

but if its my ignition coil that is burnt, wouldnt it be in a burnt colour like brown or somthing? coz right now its still silver + i changed my dizzy to another one and still no spark.
jus wondering if fuse 7.5A (starter signal) is suppose to have power going to it. coz i test it with the light thing, and there is no power, but the fuse isnt blown.

^^not neccesarily...
it is an expensive thing to go out and replace though... i'd suggest borrowing or gowing to a wrecker and trying both the coil and icm

yup agree with ignition coil.
It might work here and there , but due to the increased heat + load during a compression test , it practically melted. Take your dizzy odd , replace the coil and all should be good.
In future , you should disconnect the DISTRIBUTOR too during a compression test. Yes , disconect the side plugs to make sure !

we checked the ignition coil today with a electronic thing to see if there is power going to it. apparently there is but thats wat dad said =( because we put in another dizzy again that has previously been working and still no spark so i dunt think its the ignition coil guys.
last thing i can think of is quad-triple check my loom soldering. it might have came loose. if i stil dnt have any sparks im definately going to repco to buy myself a brand new ignition coil.
