Re-Setting the ECU after installing a CAI.....is this true???? Have heard that people do this to allow for the increased airflow. Has anyone done this???

It won't do much but try it anyways.

Either take out your ECU fuse for a few mins or unplug your battery (neg terminal) for a few mins.

yeah do it.. wont do much as in there wont be 30% more power or anything, but it should make your motor idle smoother and also provide more efficient fuel ecconomy.

I apologise if this is a bit of topic, but if you have a vafc2 connected and you reset the ecu, will it reset the vafc as well? or will the vafc keep the programed setings in place?

Wont do anything. ODB2 ecu will re-learn a/f parameters = no effect

Disconnecting the battery didn't affect any settings with my VAFC(1), so I highly doubt they'll affect it in the VAFC2. :)
