Looking for any feedback on Nankang EX-601 tyres?

Ive used them, good straight grip line but very soft sidewalls make you feel uncomfortable cornering =/

Thanks for the reply. Soft sidewalls are what I'm trying to avoid! What psi were you running in them?

I'm fitting to stock CB7 wheels, so looking at a 185/65/15 size (I think 195/60 is too wide for a 5.5J rim). It's not easy to find tyres in this size with decently stiff sidewalls. The best I've had yet in this respect (on this car) are some Sonar SX-608s, which have pretty reasonable turn-in and handling response if you pump them up hard (38psi). Not bad for a bargain basement tyre, but a bit unnerving in the wet! The Sonars are effectively a cheap Nankang, which is a disconcerting thought...

At least the Sonars have a two ply sidewall, whereas the tyres on the rear only have a single ply sidewall (Falken Ziex 329), and are truly hopeless for turn in and response, but do have decent enough wet weather grip. The Ziex tyres need 45psi to be even acceptable!

if you buying 15 inch tyres and sticking with cheaper brand try hankook. theyre not bad quality and not too expensive

if you are looking for decent handling tyres spend a lil more than nankang dollars, it's worth it over the life of the tyre

I'm considering Hankook K406 for $110, any experience with these?
