hi there guys,

i am just about to get some rota slipstreams for my eg vti hatch

but just wanted to know which one will be the most suitable for my car

for the performance, handling and efficiency.

There are 4 different sizes i'll be taking into consideration but just wanted to

know what will be the ups and downs or would there be no problems at all.

the sizes i need to choose from:

15" x 8.0 +20/+40 4hx100
15" x 7.5 +40/ 4hx100
15" x 7.0 +28/+40/+45 4hx100
15" x 6.5 +40/+45 4hx100

Now i just want to know whether getting a higher offset will make any

scrappings when doing turns againts the sides or whether it wont at all on

my eg. And by getting the larger width whether it will affect the handling

and performance in any way. I preety much know jack all about wheels so

just wondering what you guys would think would be the best.

Also its on stock springs atm now but going to lower it to around low as

king springs super lows. So just wondering if that would make a difference

in which wheel size i'll have to get for the eg!!!

15x7 or 15x6.5 +40 or +45 would be a safe bet on fitting well without scraping. dunno about the rest though. 15x7.5 +40 might be okay too. if your not after a aggressive offset look then i guess go for the first 2 that i mentioned.

it also depends on tire size you want to fit.
I have 195/50R15 on 15x6.5 +40. I reckon it's the best combo. Still have nice handling and lighter wheels.

15 x 6.5 +40 would be the best choice. I ran 15 x 6.5 +42 with 205/50/15 on my hatch without rubbing, no wheel gap.
