Does anyone know how to fit neons to light up and dim with the interior cabin light? (the light that lights up when u open doors on the ceiling.) i sorta know u gotta take the seat out and match it with the wires, but can anyone give me more advice on how to do this?
Thanks :)

havent tried it before, but i think you can tap into one of the fuses to make it come on when u turn the cabin light on. Looking at the book, it is fuse 14. Correct me if im wrong??

Use a relay. Splice the relay's power wire to the accessory plug for power, and then the other power wire through to ground. Then take the switching wire and splice it to the passenger cabin light and then the other switching wire to ground. This way you take power from the accessory socket, but rely on the cabin light only to act as a switch and you won't burn out the cabin light fuse.

hey thats pretty nice. i was sorta more thinking of having undercar LED's put in. so when i unlock the car, the neons come on, then when all doors are closed and im about to drive, the lights turn off. Do u guys know which wire is the cabin one? i just know that its under the seats LOL.

BTW, if you want to tap the cabin wire, make sure you tap it after the door switch and not before (will turn on constantly)

I wanted to do that too. After all, isn't the rule/law regarding neon/LEDs applicable only when driving on the road?
Only thing is I wouldn't want it to look tacky which is my other biggest fear with getting some kind of neon/LEDs installed underneath the car. Alot of the ones I see in the street are typically very focussed "beam lines" on the ground directly below where the lighting source was, whereas I wanted something more like a glow surrounding the car (like the movies).

ill see if i can draw a diagram for you which will let you have the neons turn on when u open the door then off again when you shut it and also let you switch it on when your on accessories.
Also has anyone got the FD Led option for the footwells and dash pocket

I have under LED lights on my car... when the doors open the LED comes on and when i close the door it turns off.... i also have a switch to turn them on while the doors are closed... i will ask my cousin when he gets online how he did it... he was the previous owner of my car...

thanks bro
I'm very keen on getting this done. Just to cover myself in case I get in trouble though, whilst hooking it up to the dimming function so it comes on when doors are open, also want to have a switch for it so I can keep it off.
