if you want to double check, you can go on to manufacturers websites (ie king springs) and cross check part numbers for eg and ek springs.
i know king springs and many others use the same springs for eg/ek and hence dc

Most aftermarket springs are interchangeable between DC/EG/EK
They will just have different spring rates

spring rates? should i be worried if fitting aftermarket springs for ek/dc2 on to my eg?
or is it common to ppl to do this setup?

Hi I found out from a mate of mine that the front springs of an eg and ek are of a different size. were the brand of spring you guys purchased both King
YEAR MAKE & MODEL----------------FRONT-------------------------REAR
11/91-4/95 CIVIC EG EH S/LOW B----KHFL-58ASL B-------------------KHRL-59SL
6/92-6/98 CRX EG S/LOW B----------KHFL-58ASL B------------------KHRL-59SL
7/93-8/01 INTEGRA DC S/LOW B-----KHFL-58A B--------------------KHRL-59
10/95-7/00 CIVIC EJ EK S/LOW B----KHFL-58A B---------------------KHRL-59
Wanted to get a 2nd opinion to know if the difference lie in the spring rates or the sizes?
I really want to purchase this set of ek springs for my eg......my current springs are cut...causing massive camber wear (not sure bt spelling) and snail speed humps/slamming my cat on humps....
andyes.. i wanna save $$:p

I knowsprings should never be cut...the guy that sold me the car cut it himself... the ruin wheels will be at a slight tilt, wrecking the shocks and cvjoints. + cause the spring rate not changed the spring is too soft.. there fore bumping my cat all the time!!.. tts Y i need a set of springs asap.. ( bigger wheels would solve the prob.. but create another one.... wrecking the side venders)

just spoken to my mech. was wrong. is just the spring rate difference.....:P
eg being lighter and KIng being softer... having king ek springs installed would be fine (i noob-ly reckon).

have a search man, plenty of info
off the top of my head, i can tell u that they will most likely fit
this is a good handling upgrade, the car will sit a tiny little lower i think
and the springs are stiffer, improving handling
u can usually find them for a good price, match them up with some koni yellows or some bilstein shocks, and uve got a massive improvement in handling
> my current springs are cut...causing massive camber wear
Incorrect toe steeings are probably doing a lot of the damage.
Fix the springs by all means, but get it into a suspension place to correct the toe settings (and camber while you're there) otherwise you might still be disappointed with the wear rate.
Whiteline can help with camber kits. amongst others
Nick.
