Hey guys,

I'm planning to buy defi gauges on my FD for the upcoming track day at wakefield, but the thing is, i don't know where i should mount the gauges.

I was thinking to mount it on the A-Pillar but people say it's illegal as it blocks vision and what not (even tho it blocks a hell alot already)...

Any Ideas?

alot of the Singaporean fd's like mounting it on the top of the windscreen... still easy to see. Or i think mugen has a guage pod for the fd that makes it sit right beside the speedo on the left.

you could check your battery, air/fuel ratio, exhaust temp, engine temp, oil pressure etc, which current dash doesnt tell you.

Wait... what do u mean on the top of the windscreen...?

As in something like the rear vision mirror..?

Regarding gauges i was planning to get 3 gauges;
Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Water Temp

It's not THAT hard fairly basic wiring and routing, just time consuming, as you need to cut your hose to mount an adaptor for the sensors, and also fit a sandwich plate over where the oil filter is, so in turn you need to drain out all the oil.

These are for oil temp/pressure and water temp gauges

i'm not talking about the lights or gauges. but the mugen gauges holder. its design fit nicely for FD dash.
only $120

Unfortunately the exchange rate is not even 100 Yen : A$1, far less 1,000 Yen : A$1, so that price is actually closer to $1,300, not $120. http://www.xe.com/

It does however include all three gauges. I'm not sure if you can just buy the hood separately, does anybody else know?

Cheers
