Removing rear wippers off eg

Hi i was just wondering if you remove the rear wippers on an eg wat is commonly use to fill the hole? and if this is gonna be targeted by the cops as a defect or something??

yep bunnings has some gommets for about $3.5 for two, grab pack and some silicon and itshould be right
