after searching the net and emailing importers i have been unable to find a way to import an eg6 and comply it. finding the car is not the problem, nor is importing it. but it seems that there isn't any workshops who will comply these vehicles. does anybody know how to get one of these onto the roads, i want to get back into a civic but this time got to have better than a breeze. after looking through numerous car sales websites and newspaper it seems that all the egs in aus have crazy mileage on them so im looking to import. thanks

only way u can get a EG6 on the road is private import
which means u need to have to own the car in japan or Nz or where ever and bring it in as your personal import
EG6 arent elegible for import due to the AUDM civic that was released here during late 91 and early 95

do what i did and constantly search the newspaper and car sale websites until one pops up (already registered).... hahaha
i finally found my at the end of last year.. not in the best of conditions but at the end of the day still a genuine eg6..
good luck with your search

Meh for the time, effort and money involved it'd be cheaper buying a halfcut and swapping everything into another civic imo. Then just tell ppl it's an eg6 clone.

Or paint it pink and purple and call it the car formerly known as eg3
