Seen one today at KK liverpool except it was on a facelift ITR instead of a prefacelift...
Tbh.. doesnt look tooo bad... however i would question the projector/light quality of anything aftermarket..

In terms of ease of installation... its pretty straight forward.

-Lift bonnet,
-Unbolt + remove front bar
-Unhook headlights from the housing
-Unbolt the headlight from the radiator support + remove
-From there, simply put the aftermarkets in the same way u pulled em out.

Bolts for the front bar are located along the top of the radiator support, and also in the front half of the wheel arches.

you'd hook them up to your parkers.
or you can make a manual switch so you can turn them on anytime you want.

The lights pictured are for facelift 98+ even though it says 94-97, you need 98+ front bar to make em look right.

I would imagine they are the right size.

have you purchased these and have them installed into your car?

thanks

no but I know my light lenses (98+ type) stick through the bar much further than yours. If it was me i'd ask the seller some more questions as I've never seen halo lights available for 94-97

They definitely do sell pre-facelift halos. ive looked around a bit in the past n yeah, they're available. Unfortunately tho, a lot of sellers on the net hav no idea what they're talkin bout so u gotta b careful.

I fitted a set of halos for a friend's EG a month ago n installation was quite simple altho it didnt fit the guards 2 flush, shouldnt hav that prob with tegs tho coz of where they sit.

Watch out for a black relay wire prolly on the passenger side parker, u'll need 2 hook it up in order for both halo's 2 work.

Other possible issue is the lights not pointing in the right direction. U'll need 2 park it near a wall n play around with the lights so they r both level n dnt point 2 high/low.

Projectors seemed pretty good, wouldnt say any worse than stock.

reason i was kinda keen to get some new ones as well was becuase my old lights are all faded and looking seedy, i cant be bothered to take them off and sand them back so I purchased these.

thanks for the info tegzie boy

I have bought the same lights (98spec) and the build quality isnt OEM but is definantly of high standard. However, the projector light output is horrible, and is almost bad enough to consider not using them. I also found the LED's used in the halo's dont last long.

I ended up doing a custom HID OEM Retrofit in mine, and because of the way the frame is built it worked out quite well and was relatively easy. I used RX330 Projectors & 300ZX Lenses. Light intensity, beam pattern and cutoff are fantastic and IMO better overall than the Accord Euro HID projectors. If your somewhat handy then it doesnt work out to be too expensive if you do it yourself. I also replaced the LED's that power the halo's with higher intensity and better quality ones.

Just My 2cents

BTW: If your worried about cop trouble just hook up a switch to the halo's so you can control them independantly to the driving lights. I did ;)

yeah I did it because the plates were glowing up heaps in the pic's i took with my cam and I wanted more emphasis to the halos LOL

yeah i hooked them up to my parkers so then i can switch between parkers, lights and high beam ect ect..

the out put is ok seems same as oem.
