Well, I've been a BIG lurker of the forums but just recently started contributing. Read a lot of threads and even gone through stuff from years ago. The name's Sid (alias), short for my first name (spelt differently). Live in Melbourne for the past 3 years now, originally from Sydney. Used to be a computer nerd, so I'm quite good with electronics.

What I first though of Honda, were rice bombs lol
But after purchasing a Honda '89 CRX (Euro Spec), I started to study more in to the Honda engine and parts. After a while, read more information on how the engine specifically works with VTEC and found that they weren't much of a bomb after all LOL
Could easily say best N/A Engine out there :cool: Even though mine doesn't have VTEC

I'm currently 21 years of age, turning 22 soon!

I enjoy working on my car and like putting up DIYs. Bit of a DIY freak as I don't like paying through the roof for something easy and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others

Bit about my CRX
- Engine's a D16A9 - The A9 is the Euro Spec. AUDM is the A8. JDM is ZC.
- Full CYBER bodykit, currently in the process of moulding the body kit on to the car itself (only the side skirts and door panel)
- Front lowered king springs (pics in my DIY)
- Exedy HD Clutch
- Brembo Rotors (pics in my DIY)
- ACDelco Pads
- Aftermarket steering wheel & shift knob
- 2 or 2½ Inch piping from the cat to a
- Scorpion exhaust, twin 3" tip
- Pod filter with the pipe thing in to the TB (pics in my DIY)
- Gauges that I put in myself.
- Reconditioned Dizzy w/Eagle leads

- Pioneer head unit
- 2 x Pioneer 6 Inch Speakers
- 2 x Alpine 6 Inch Speakers
- 1 x 12 Inch Sub
- 1000watt Amp

That's all the things I could think of atm
Still trying to figure out how to install an A/F Gauge cause my car doesn't have an o2 sensor.

Car was shipped from the UK by the previous owner (he was the original owner of the car).

Don't know what else to add but yeahh...

For an A/F gauge,have a look at the haltech wideband,its a direct copy of the innovate LC-1 & goes for about $300(sensor + control unit + bung to weld into exhaust).Its the gauges that are the expensive bit,i use an apexi pen turbo timer(bout $110) & just recalibrate the wideband & the apexi to suit each other.Its fairly accurate too.

The body is in horrible condition. fibre glass over the place and half of it is sanded. Door is bashed cause of an accident but getting it repaired, other person to pay. Gimmie a sec, I'll search for some pics.

Bugger, can't find any. some on my MySpace but they're very old and I would say... embarassing? hahah i'll get some pics up of the moulding. Hate sand paper'ing. Pics of the Brembo rotors are in my DIY Spring thread.

Old pic, interior has changed a little bit. resprayed the plastic centre thing a different colour for the heck of it. Going to re-trim the interior once the body is finished.

Rice lights. Changed it back to the el stocko ones. Yet again, an old pic.

My speedo thing is in MPH btw.... lol .. but in tiny writing.. KMPH too lol sucks @ night cause you can hardly see what speed you're actually doing but got used to converting MPH TO KMPH, in my head, now haha

When I was first driving it to get a roadworthy.. was thinking why people were going to slow on the hwy.. I was going '60' and thought to myself "slow people on the roads today.." but i was actually doing 100kmph when you convert mph to kmph =\
