Hey guys, im an integra owner n im soon planning 2 buy a front lip n pretty basic side skirts for my car. The kit is pretty plain with pretty much flat surfaces throughout.
What is the best way to go about spraying the kit myself whilst keeping it pretty neat looking n most importantly do u guys kno of a good shop 2 get the paint mixed, i done somethin similar before when i sprayed my stock side panels n strip down the side (i got a gsi).
This was the result and im not sure if u can tell from the pic but the colour was a bit off.

before putting the final coat on, make sure the surface is all smooth. As in sanded down to a baby's butt finish and double check for any signs of crapness. The quality of a job is all in the preparation.

Yeah i kinda learnt that.
1 of my friends tryed doin the whole kit at home, had the proper paint n spray gun n still turned out like crap even tho he's given it almost 10 coats, at the end of the day it looks like crap mainly coz he was just 2 lazy 2 spend a good hour or more just sanding it 2 perfect smoothness.
U can really c where the surface is a lil rough it looks like s**t n the colour is off.

what sort of sand paper do you use for paint sanding?
Which one would you use the dry / wet sanding paper
Also which grade are you using 1200? 1500? or 2000?

youd rub it back wet, id start off with something like 800 grit and slowly progress up
