View Full Version : Honda CRX 1989 Climate Control.
I have heard alot about the control panels, how easily they break and so on./
Does anyone have any ideas, or replacements as to what i can do, any help would be great. THANKS!

do you have one that is broken ??
is it climate control on a EF8/9 or the heat/cold knocb on the ED9
before and after of my old one...

easiest solution is to probably replace it...

hardest solution is to actually find a good unbroken one.......
thats what im having trouble doing, finding a replacement, ive called 6 honda spare parts places and found nothing, ive head a honda odyssey climate control does the job, any ideas?

id say the odyssey would be compleately different,
you would have to do a bit of rewiring to make it fit.

yeah they suck and break easy and its a common issue
if you cannot find a replacement one, you can always fabricate a metal face plate and glue the focker into it. This has been done by a few already on crxaustralia.com.
i picked mine up from ebay

Assuming its just the cover/bezel piece which is broken CRX Toad from Honda-Tech makes a replacement cover. $14 US

I have seen the covers made by the guys in the US on and aussie CRX. They do do the job and fit nicely, but they do look after market. (you can tell it's not original)
I know these are getting very hard to get now so this might be one of the few options left.
