I just bought some coilovers that were supposed to be for an EG. I fitted the fronts first but I when I got to the back I realized that my car has a ball joint. The coilovers that I bought have a fork which I am guessing is for a different series of civic.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? Do you think I need to change something on the rear end to fit these? I can see no way of fitting them the way they are and I am sure there must be an easy fix.

Thanks for any help

you'll need to replace your rear lca's..
you'll need the audm type.. wreckers will have plenty of them

hmmm you will need new Rear lower controll arms from a GLI/VTI/SI civic.

Sounds like your civic (assumeing VEI? Vtec-e?) have different LCA's again

it is much easier finding eg vti/si/etc LCAs here, other than jdm ball joints. also much cheaper too.
