As above + Clean out the throttle body & change the Fuel filter.

will give it a try.... the car mostly will bog when on freeway travelling at 100... if i step more fuel... it tend to bog.... no power.... n have to release the gas then step again.... tats the weird parts...

N how can i tell tat i'm running obd1 or obd0 ? check the ecu... n its throwing a code 2 which is the secondary 02 sensor... n also my car currently onli wired up 1 02 sensor... which is a 4 wires 02sensor..

any more clue ???

my car (civic vtir b16a2) is similar but not on highways n stuff, mine hesitates a lil when cold (which is probably normal) and sometimes when warm but mainly on 3rd gear, example, i apply a 1/4 throttle (wateva it is cant be exact) and the car will rev up n go like its sposed to but very slowly then when i hit like 3 rev wid the same throttle it feels like it just gained some power lolz can feel a little bit of gforce. hrmmz does that makes senses to ppl lolz, to fix this i got sparkies, leads but havent put them in yet to fix, i cleaned throttle body ... now just to try itwid sparkies n leads, will update this thread n tell if fixed at all.

genkimashi: Sounds like it is an O2 sensor playin up. I have the same problem in my barina and it needs a new O2 sensors :(

andiiso: i think your problem is that the b16 has no torque down low at all. lol Get used to revving the shit out of it to go anywhere!

well nah i noe its got no torque, but it still shouldnt just all of a sudden pull in even tho im using the same amount of throttle goin past 3k, should b smooooooooth regardless of it havin power or not

last time i had a similar it was the fuel filter. Does it get worse when you go uphill?

the second o2 sensor is the cat sensor, unless you have a b16a1 which i beleive had 2 o2 sensors on the manifold.

Anyway an o2 sensor will generally not bog you. It just makes it run rich and increases your fuel consumption. You have to rem that the factory ECU has set as to how much fuel/air it provides

Check your sensors on the TB are working fine.I'm going through a similair thing.I reckon I need a map sensor (the one on the top of the TB).I'll know on wednesday :) but the cold air control valve sensor (the sensor on the bottom of the TB) went already. My car has done 92,000km.

I heard you could take out the O2 sensor and it wouldn't make a difference.A guy that owns a muffler shop for 15 years told me...

it will just run rich

Yeah that's what I said to him,the 02 sensor stops it from running rich :)

well.. not sure whether it get worst when going uphill... but definitely the hesistation when after some high rev.... like hitting the vtec...

By the way how can u identify its obd0 or obd1 ? just wanna get some tips 2 identify it.... i know obd0 run 2 o2 sensor n obd1 run 1... anymore details 2 differentiate it ?

Currently running a spoon ecu 2... really rich... owez backfire... will it cost it 2 bog ?

Does the hesitation happens on a certain rpm?
if so, check the dizzy, timming might be off.
If it still happens, change the spark leads and spark plugs

Mines running better but still hesitates like you said at certain RPM's.
I will check everything that's been said,Thanks Guys!
I will to tell of the outcome.

Could be anything man.Do a ECU check:

I just did 1 and I got a code 0 = ECU.I gotta change mine,looks like.I did it twice.

Yea... i did ecu check b4... throwing a code 2.... which is the O2 sensor...:thumbdwn:

faulty o2 sensor will not cause it to bog

beeza

The cheapest way is to swap parts from another car to eliminate the possibilities...

faulty o2 sensor will not cause it to bog

you've got other issues, i agree with above that it will not cause bogging.

Check the other things stated.

I've had to change all my sensors on my Throttle body and it improved each time I change one.I wish I had just change the whole Throttle body from the start but the one I got wasn't a perfect match...Pain in the ass! It all started with the Ignition Control Module inside the Distributor :!::!::!:

So you changed the coil in the dizzy and the bogging is gone?

It was the ignition control module I changed,a different part,I did change the coil aswell though.

I am.
It's a part in the distributor,I'm pretty sure it controls the firing order of cylinders etc.
