hey guys,
just wondering if its possible to buy the wind deflector and install on your own?? is it much effort?
i have a 99 model s2000 and really want the wind deflector, but just not sure whats involved and even if you can purchase them.
Any help is greatly appreciated

to the guys with wind deflectors. Does it work for you? i've got one and i dont notice a difference with it up or down lol

1. there are indents under the lid of the secret compartment, so to install it, all u do is drill 2 holes, very easy.
2. Makes quite a lot of difference, without it, you actually get a lot of wind coming in from the rear! It just makes the cabin more calm

so ? is it like better or nah , ludecrs you had these other things that you put behind the seat dont ya? what if you have the deflector and the thing behind the head rest of seat would it work good?

I didn't notice any difference, but then again I'm 6'2 or 6'3. No matter what, I'm gonna feel some wind lol.
I had plastic cut outs placed behind the headrest. Recently sold them since there of no use to me now as I have leather headrests due to my height.

hey guys i just purchased a wind deflector, a while ago i was searching around about them and i found a wind deflector upgrade for it from the states to make the win deflector taller and higher for more wind reduction in the cabin that you can add onto the oem handle if anyone can find it again with the link it will be good thanks

No difference. Drive is actually more peaceful with the deflector off. But it does look good though.

Actually I do notice a different, its more windy and wind noise is more eccesive with it down. I'm 5ft9.

I'm 6ft tall and I've probably taken my deflector off for a good 6 months now. Maybe I'll put it back on this weekend and really listen to see if there is in any difference.
