Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!
Aim:
To bring the top of the bootbag to the bottom of the gearknob ie. eliminating the small gap where you can see the shifter.
Required:
10mm socket or wrench
Screw driver
Snips
Cable tiers
File
Steps:
1) Remove centre console by undoing the 2x10mm bolts and the 2 screws at the front of the console, then unscrew the gearknob.

2) Screw the gearknob back in place and sit your thumb going horizontally, with a cable tie fasten it so that your thumb is snug inbetween the cable tie and the base of the gearknob.

3) Snip the cable tie leaving aprroximately half a cm. Remove gearknob.

4) File the end of the cable tie as to not have sharp edges that could potentionally rip your boot bag. (or you could just use snips to round off the dges)
5) Put centre console back together and hey presto!

thats an easy way!
I did mine with a washer. had to dremel the middle a bit to get the height right though.
Zip ties ftw!!!

That's why I like his idea. Easy, almost zero effort, but great adjustability. This is a mod that can get the Ghetto™ seal of approval. :)

^^ Good stuff! That was why I was so willing to give him the rep points. It is a simple idea that solves a problem that everyone has but has no idea to fix (i.e. the best way to solve a problem). I used velcro to hold the bottom of the boot up before, but that is not as smart as using a zip tie! (plus the velcro would loosen up with time)
