screeching clutch?

it didnt really bother me before after i got my new gearbox and clutch wasnt too bad but it seems to have gotten worse? it happens when i ride the clutch like i hear a full metal on metal screeching? anybody know what it is?

I've got the same problem since my new HD clutch install...

A mech told me whoever installed the clutch didn't grease the return spring correctly..

As I supplied the parts and the mech did the work nether will foot the bill to fix it and apparently it won't damage anything but I'm not so sure........

sounds no grease on the release bearing or the fork itself ~ You need to pull the rubber boot back and spray some GPG in onto the bearing and hopefully that will fix the issue.
Ray , does this issue change the way the gear engages or is it noise only ?

its pretty much just the screeching sound i have no issues so far with getting into gear? gearbox still feels fine too ncie and tight like a virgin uhmms gear goes in quite smoothly clutch is still springy just the screeching noise when i ride it? can u explain bit clearer what i would need to do? ahaha cos im pretty confused as to what you said?
