Screeching sound when reversing

whenever i reverse I hear this screeching sound coming from the right wheel area.. the sound comes up only when I reverse really slow and when the steering wheel is in full lock to the left.. what could that be?

could be wheel bearings not sure? does the sound happen when your in gear or getting into gear? are u riding the clutch at all?

sound happens when in reverse gear. yeah i have to ride the clutch if i have to reverse slowly..

i guess so it's got plenty of meat on there and they dont make noises when i step on the brakes..

full lock to the left hand side , and reversing.
No other time Aris ? What about if uphill or on a flat road ?

Might be a rock stuck in your brakes somewhere ~
or i hope not an issue with ur CV joint again

yeah it's weird it only happens when i steer to the left, flat or uphill.. might be a lose steering belt? i'm not sure if the word for this is screech or whistle because the sound is not that loud..:o

i checked the cvs and they're fine! lol

yup its the clutch, its a sports organic and doesn't like being ridden

did you say full lock ??? and does it only happen when the engine is firstly started in the mornings ?

if it is then its just ur powerstereing belt

i have exactly the same problem as you outatime, it was like 2 weeks ago, i bring it to a mech and found out one of my brake pad located inside only left meat as thick as an a4 paper. after changing the brake pad... the annoying noise gone.

really.. hmm could be uneven wear on my pads.. will check it! thanks.
