fuel filter washers

just wondering are the oem fuel filter washers one use only? reused them on the weekend and the bottom washer seems to allow the system to leak still :(
tightened it as much as i can and it still leaks a bit of fuel(i can see it building up very slowly while the car is on)

if its one use anyone know what size washer i need to replace it with?

change the washer asap

you can reuse them if they are not to squashed. your not ment to reuse them but you can get away with it.

if you put in a new oem filter, it should have come with replacement washers

they should all come with a coupe of washers? when u get the model specific for your car should come with 2 but they might not work properly.

all crush washers are one use only guys :)

Fuel filter , sump plug , transmission drain etc. It gets torqued , squashed and seals. Then you chuck away once you change again.

can i get replacement washers only? changed the fuel filter about 25,000k's ago so its not time yet
will have to checkout super cheap and see if they have replacements

ofcourse u can. Ask for a replacement filter to suit ur car from super cheap , and they should have the washers separate.

edit; actually i pulled off the banjo bolt last night and took off the fuel line and found theres only one washer between the fuel like and banjo bolt but no washer between the fuel line and the fuel filter itself(it looked like there was a groove that the washer sat on but i couldn't pick the washer off)
is this normal or am i actually missing a washer?

theere suppose to be 2 washers, one on each side of the line connecting the filter.

be very VERY careful with that banjo bolt if u snap it a new one from honda costs 7 bux and takes 3 weeks to get here -_-

doh i guess *someone* lost it when they were taking off the filter and it wasn't me :p

just an update, supercheap guys are pretty useless, asked for the filter washers and they said it only comes with the filter itself, pointed me to a shelf with washers but i got nfi which size will fit
any idea as to which size i'm after? might just have to buy one large enough and cut it down to size to fit :(

go to honda and ask them, they should be able sell you some seperate to the filter
