Im sry if there is a tread on this question just that i couldnt really
have all the answer i wan. Im looking for a set of wheels and new
tyres for my 01 S2K atm, so im just wondering:

Front: 17x7.5 Tyres: 215/40
Rear: 17x8.5 Tyres: 245/40

Are those above a gd combination? And i also would like to know the
off set and the hole of the wheels for S2K like:

Wats the front and rear off set would suit above apllication?
5H-100 or 5H-114.3 to suit S2K?

And on tyres choice, im looking to spend the most 900 bucks - 1k
on tyres. Wan something that can do occasional track works.

Any recommendation will be great and appreciated.

Thanks

215/45 17 is a better front tyre size to maintain the same tyre diameter as stock.

The stud pattern on S2000s is 5x114.3. Offsets are typically quite high, so to ensure no rubbing maybe around +50 to +60, but I am not really familiar with s2ks so do not quote me on that.

You might be able to find the Bridgestone RE001 in those sizes for less than 1k if you shop around.

Adrenalin RE-001 will do the job. But if you want even greater performance look for some Potenza RE-01R's, Advan Neova AD07's, Direzza Z1's etc.
Street legal tyres that are of semi slick quality. Last long as well.

These options are better than the Toyo T1R?

In my opinion all of the tyres listed by hachiroku are superior to the Toyo T1R in outright dry grip. A friend switched from T1R's to RE01R's and rated the Bridgestones far superior.

1K on performance tyres is not possible unless you have friends in the industry.

Bought 4x yokohama S-drives for $1100. Retail was $1200.

These wer 225/45/17 for my honda accord lol.

you can get cheaper korean premiums for under $1000 but dont expect RE001R (The new potenza adrenalins) for under $1K in those sizes if going retail.
