hi guys, i dont usually post as i usually read and soak up stuff.. but this question has been really bugging me..

i recently bought a 91 eg SI and dropped a b18 into it..

after some pretty hard driving ive come to the conclusion that the braking capabilities are somewhat limited on the SI even tho they are 242mm?

what i want is something that can put up with repeated heavy braking eg. track use..

ive been looking for some upgrade paths but im not 100% sure what i want to do.

the options ive been given are as follows:

1. itr 5 lug conversion incl 282mm rotors and brakes all round

2. integra vtir brake calipers and rotors

3. nsx calipers and 282mm rotors (yonas recomended i do this)

4. eg6 calipers and rotors

any input would be greatly appreciated

the Si front brakes are 242mm. Small , and the brake master cylinder needs a upgrade too.

Upgrade to ATLEAST front 262mm brakes ( caliper + rotor + knuckle) and upgrade your brake booster and master cylinder , to a suitable master cylinder.

That is , EG6 mentioned as above.

Just do the ITR brake conversion... nice and simple ...

NSX / DC2R caliper + 282mm disc + ITR 1 inch master cyl + brake booster
