Yes 2 of them on the back of a truck went past the showroom today, badges were taped up, both were luxuries.
One was a cool blue, not arctic but the same as in some of the TSX pics and the other was silver, same wheels as the TSX in states kinda boring if u ask me and another thing i noticed was they both had front sensors on them.

Looks heaps better in the flesh than in the TSX pics from the states.

Its normal for honda to have them early for evaluation. if u drive past honda aus in tulla u will prob see em in the car park!

scroll down for a pic

Not too sure yet on the tail lights but overall it's always nicer to see in the flesh rather than in picture. I need to see with my own eyes before I can judge. Thanks for the pics.

Interesting. I said earlier this year that the rear looked like a new Corolla and that it would be released in July 2008 and I got pounced upon for such a bold comparison and for the release date!

There seems to be a few cars coming out with the saggy soiled-nappy rear bump look. I wonder if there is some new regulation somewhere in the world (probably USA) that's causing this symptom. Or it could be a misguided Japanese design fad.

is this the same as japanese honda accord as per the current euro?

All about minimising pedestrian injury from impact. And I though the 03-07's Euro bumpers were big, now the 08 is not only big, it is high and sticks up like super-booty.

If that keeps up, we'll be driving cars that look like PT Cruisers.
The Vintage car look is coming back lol

Some 2009 Acura TSX videos on Youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAE_VTSKCOU

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_QxyAX5GgA

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z9ze2LtVgw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQ1Dtc-Z_qw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0hw8HkHVqI

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqg8eAr6ILQ

Remember, our Accord Euro version won't have the ugly grille of the TSX and will have less equipment than the TSX.

Also, the fuel consumptions quoted in the videos are miles per US gallons. US gallons are smaller than Imperial Gallons (3.785 Litres versus 4.54 Litres). So, to convert, multiply quoted figures by 4.85 and divide by 3.785. This gives our version of miles per gallon. Then, the constant number 282.2 divided by the imperial miles per gallon gets you L/100km.

One of the videos claims that the auto will be more economical than the manual but this might just be the bias of the standard test they conduct in the USA.

The new Acura TSX has been officially priced 5% more than its predecessor so I thought the new Accord Euro might follow suit once released here. I might say Euro standard RRP is $38,000 plus on road costs and Luxury version is $47,000 plus on road costs. That's just my guess anyway.

If the equipment levels start as per the current version, then you'd be looking at the the Luxury Auto as that is the only auto with a moonroof. Euro76 said above that it will probably be $47,000 plus on road costs.
