View Full Version : Do you leave your keys when fitting bodykit?
Just wondering if you guys usually leave your keys with the painters when they are fitting a bodykit. Can't imagine why they'd need the keys apart from if they need to move the car.
Thoughts?

Well they cant keep calling you down to their workshop to move the car for them. I always leave my keys with people when they do work on it, and of course when I go to pick it up, I expect a few more kms on it.

i left my car for 3 days. Just left the car key. As "TheSaint" mentioned, take down the kms. I had no probs with mine. You will get a shock of ur life when you return to your car. In a good way cos the kit will be on. Sexytime

No. Just let them call you to yours and their annoyance everytime they need to move your car..
I've had my car at the panel beaters for a week. They put on all of 0km..

aint that the truth, i was like OMG awsome lol
U see JaCe, u wouldnt have this problem if u had a evo =P
Um..did u call ramsey abt saturday for ur bodykit? 8:30 right?...why so damn early? IF i can make it, then i'll go get some speaker too or sumthing yeh?
...IF i can wake up.
lol.. evo will come soon enough.
As for bodykit; reason why I ask is last thing I want is to rock up later in the day or the next day to see my car missing (or on a boat to Malaysia). I guess as long as I don't leave the valuables or papers in the car it should be fine.
C'mon dude, its not like your leaving your girlfriend with a pimp for a few days.
Just make sure those hundred dollar notes are out of the glovebox.
