Hi All

I have been hearing a noise coming from the front of the car. I only get it when i am turning and applying accelorater.

Any suggestions to what it could be

Mods are
Cusco type 1 lower arm
Cusco strut brace
Tein SS coil overs

Thanks
Nelvin

Explain the noise exactly?

its like a clunking i am thinking it might be the CV joint
but its a 07 car cant have worn it out that quick
could it be because of my sussy mods ??

Has anyone had this problem?

The strut may just be loose, get the sussy items checked by a suspension place.

If its a consistant clunking that increases with the car speed, its likely to be the CV joints. The CV may have been stressed by large/wide rims. Or when you are parking and you turn the steering wheel a lot while the car is stationary, that can also excessively wear out the CV joints.

How much have you lowered your car by? Do you always do full lock and hard acceleration?

I got that sort of prob, but it's coming from the rear...
But it only happens when I go over speed humps or up/down drive ways..
I got another noise like a creaking sound as well..

Going to get it check next week, will let you know what the prob is.

No I have never full locked and hard accelerate the most I would turn is if I need to speed through a right hand turn?

I doubt it is the sussy.

I took a corner pretty fast tonight with the clutch in with no noise.

But with the clutch out and accelerating the noise is there.

I am guessing it is the parts between the engine and wheels

That could possibly mean the box or cv joint

What do you reckon??
Deductive reasoning?

go to the dealer it might be a broken sway bar end link rod.
