Does anybody know or have experienced their CV joints making sounds when you have the car jacked up and spin the wheel forwards and backwards? mine is making very slight clicking noise atm and dunno if the CV's are damaged or not?

CVs usually make noise when the car is turning.

Noise from spining the wheel is usually the gbox. I know my corolla made a noise a slight ticking noise when you started to move them forward.

Haven't tried on the civic

are there any grease leaks from your cv boots?

when the wheels are off the ground its completely normal for a click noise to come from the wheel area. Its usually the driveshafts free spinning the diff or the brake pads bumping off the brake rotors etc. Nothing to worry about.

Test it - do a full lock turn ( 3 point turn) and listen for a "click-click-click" from either side. This is usually a sign that your actual CV joint is gone
