Side Indicator install!

Hey umm I purchased my car with shaved side inidicators... I was wondering how would I go about making a hole for it or something? Has anyone done it before? Please Advise! And yes I tried search in DIY.. nothing came up except fitting them!

A great idea by DNYALL was to Drill 2 Holes Side by Side (Drill size same as indicator) then hack saw what was left in between them! Would the drill crack the paint though? Thanks!

And another way I got from a forum in the US was to use a Dremel Tool!

you can use drill, but make sure the drill bit is sharp, cos otherwise it will ruin the pain a bit. as far as I know, it won't crack the pain.

but yeah, if you're not very confident with a drill, a dremel is another easier option.

the most important thing is the bits. it has to be sharp.

a handy tip
using masking tape or something to cover up what your actually gonna drill then drill through the tape stops the paint from flaking off. =]

they got some good deals at bunnings aye.
when they shaved the previous indicators off did they use bog or weld em?
if its just bog cant u cut the paint in the area for where they go, and
then just bust the bog off.

I have no idea .. because I havn't taken the other side off lol.. shit busting the bog sounds like paint flaking off to me haha I dunno but I guess that would be th ebetter option when I take it off
