hi guys, i bought this gear knob off ebay. it has 3 adapters. small, medium and large. when i was going to fit it, i found that if i put the adapter, the gear knob wont fit properly. if i didnt put the adapter on, the gear knob's numbers does not position correctly.

why does it seem so hard?

1. put the nut (adapter) on until it reaches the bottom level of the thread
2. start tightening the gear knob. If it touches the nut (adapter) and number still facing the wrong direction loosen it a lil bit until the number facing the right direction
3. now if there's a gap between the nut and gear knob, bring the nut up (counter clockwise, I think) to lock the gearknob in place

This should the job, otherwise no idea. Hopefully I don't make this so confusing:)
