accord euro ecu problem

Have a euro that is coming up with some problems with the ecu.

honda have told me that i will need to replace it for $1900. :eek::eek:
but is there any way to try to reset it first?

would there be an aftermarket ecu avail that will be suitable for a stock engine?

Be careful with some dealers, they may be taking u for a ride. It could be something simple like a bad connector or a dry joint that can be easily repaired using a soldering iron.

Take the car to another dealer of a good independent honda mechanic, or check it yourself using an ODB2 reader.


To reset the ECU, disconnect the car battery for a minute.
