hey guys,
i drive a dc2 type R, and am currently looking to do my throttle body, however i have no idea about size? currently i'm running intake manifold, headers exhaust and a cold air intake, in the future i will be doing ecu and cam work. Any suggestions on whats a suitable size? I'm probably looking at skunk2 since our dollar is so good atm over in the US

cheers

I've heard Edelbrock are also good.

Only what i've heard though, no proof to support.

You could bore out your existing one, or buy one of the others mentioned above.

I'd go with US throttle bodies. They are bored out the whole way, unlike spoon, where the bigining part is bored out, and the the other side is just OEM size.

It really depends on the individual car set up...I'm going 68m for mine when it gets around to having some more work on it

it really depends on what setup your after.. But make sure when your using a bigger TB to have a Manifold to suit no point on just getting a bigger TB and not getting a manifold to suit

yeh i've got a skunk2 proseries intake manifold not installed, just waiting for TB and ecu to do it all at once... 68mm would match my intake manofld wouldn't it?
