Registing a off road EG.........Help(VIC)

I just bought my EG5 today:)The previous owner registration is overdue for 6 moths time now. He also gave me the RWC.
The questions are:

1. Do i still need to make an appointment for the car inspection in VicRoad??

2. If yes, what do they check for the car????hard to pass??????

off road EG ? as in for race use only ? AFAIK there is no need for rego.

Wouldnt it need a blueslip because its been unregistered for more then 3 months?

It shouldnt be hard to pass if the car is in good working order,should just be some minor things to fix :thumbsup:

To get the rego on the car you need to make an appointment with vic roads. You have to take proof of ownership as well as the RWC. They will check that the engine numebrs match but nothing else really. I personally wouldn't take a car in with a POD filter or anything easily defectable just incase.

BTW, Is the RWC still valid? I think they only last a month from the date of issue.
