Just a quick 1.
amazingly, i cannot remember if i am able to lock/unlock central locking on my car from the passenger side.

i dropped car off at garage for some work and when i got it back i noticed that the central locking only seems to work on the drivers side.
By this i mean, when im outside the car and using the key to unlock/lock the car.

drivers side works fine as you'd expect, but i cant remmeber if the passenger side is meant to do the same.

i have the same problem but with the passenger side, got no problem opening it both my doors from the drivers side but if i use the key on the passengers side i have to go around and stick my key in to open my own door? strange i remember it working both ways when i first got the car?

The OEm central locking only works on the drivers side on my EK4.
Aftermarket ones depends on the module you use.

passenger side is running a slave module whereas driver side has master module

ahh okay, sweet guys.
its wierd though, coz most central locking modules allow for both sides, passenger and driver side.

i just cudnt remember if i was able to or not. its a classic example of i think i remember it did, but wtf now its not but ur not so sure. LOL
