i am swapping my front hubs for DC2 hubs. What i want to know is when i am fitting the brake line to the banjo bolt at the calipers, who do i make sure that both holes align correctly with each other? or does it align no matter which position they are both in?

as long as the banjo bolt is screwed in properly u should be right.

also, make sure u never hang the caliper assembly from the brake line as they r easily damaged.

so i dosnt matter which way you start the thread, the brake line and banjo bolt will usually line up. ill mark them just to make life easy on me. i wouldnt even think of hangin the caliper off the brake line, but thanks for the heads up.

That's the beauty of banjo fittings, you can rotate them any way you like and they'll still work. The holes in the bolt do not need to line up with the outlet on the fitting.

oh sweet, thanks. but i would like to know why as well. like wouldnt the pressure be altered cause of the holes not aligning?

Nope. Notice how the banjo fitting bulges around the middle? That's so fluid can flow around the entire ID of the fitting.
