hey guys,

Ive got a 2003 accord euro,

Just wondering if anyone can look up for me in their workshop manuals for fuel delivery system.. i know where the fuel pump, lines and everything are..

but is there an immobiliser system or anything in the accord euro that could possible stop the fuel pump from working.?

Just trying to get it started.. theres spart to the spark plugs but no fuel coming through.. (Just bought this car, with no history so yea.. )

its slightly water damaged..... also..

im certain theres no kill switch or after market alarm...

im most likely going to buy workshop manuals off ebay but in the meantime its going to take a while for them to get here..
Cheers.

Shouldn't be any difference between 03 and 04-05.

If you change the ECU, you need to change the keys and immobiliser as well. Since your new ECU is good, it is the immobiliser now stopping the spark.

ok kool, by immobilisor, do u mean the IMOES unit?

Im guessing that this is how it works.

KEYS WITH CODE --->> CODE READER IN IGNITION -->> Read by IMOES UNIT--->And then if successful, car starts?

im also guessing, that i could possibly swap the chips out of the keys and use the original key with new chip to see if it starts? (thats if i can take chip out??)

Swap immobiliser chip, green immobiliser chip reader and ECU. All 3 have to be matching sets.

no worries.. will give it a try tomorro.

1 last quick question, im led to believe the chip reader is on the passenger side near the airbag. whats the best way to get to it?

cheers and thanks.

Nono, the chip reader is around your ignition barrel. Take off the plastic trim/cover that is around the steering column. Then look at the ignition barrel. You'll see a green ring with a little box attached to the side, looks like a kid's chew toy. That is the immobiliser chip reader. Just swap this green thing, the key (chip) and the ECU. All 3 have to be matching, so I don't know if you can reprogram the reader and chip to match the ECU. Probably could at a huge cost at the dealer.

Where would I go to buy the proper Workshop Manual for the Euro (I just bought the current Euro lux)? I tried looking on ebay, but I can't find any.

Is it normally a book or does it come on a CD?

Thanks, much appreciated.

It's on CD, sold by some dude on ebay. It is for the 2003-2005 models. I am not sure if it includes the sat nav version.
