Legal: its projected so you wont blind anyone if you install HIDs. Much safer than installing HIDs to stock reflectors. But at the end of the day, its still probably illegal. I havent been pulled over yet. Drove past many cops.

Install: Remove bumper & stock headlamps. I got a professional to do mine. Took about 1 hr for about $70-80. Money well spent. If you know what youre doing, then its easy. Im a noob, so its hard :D

I would like to see how they look on the car.

^ Look in the mods thread. He's posted it there numerous times I think.

Also, if you buy from TheSpeedLine on eBay, they're quite good. The guy who works there responds to emails promptly and I had a very good experience- so good that I even offered to let him use photos of my FD1 for his adverts of the tail lamps :)

Thanks Shimian,

For the pics and giving me an idea of how the eagle eyes will look.
Nice looking car you got there btw. Are you going to change your rims to larger ones?
The current wheels look small with the mugen kit on the car.

thanks triode12. Yes, they look ridiculous with the kit. Stock 16"s FTW :p
My next major mod will be an exhaust system. Just need to find time to get to an exhaust shop for measurements. Will probably go for rims/tyres/teins end of the year. Too broke now :thumbdwn:

Eagle eyes are a must get IMO.

Is your light RHD or LHD?

unfortunately they're illegal because they are not ADR compliant.

-They do not have built in auto-levelling functions
or
- Self cleaning mechanisms.

Even if they had these, the aftermarket mods to the wiring/voltage would probably keep the setup ADR non-compliant.

Also, problems with these lights:

I bought a pair and the right one had the lens permanently aimed down right onto the ground. Adjustments to the levelling function would not work as the spring was jammed so I had to send it back at my own cost which is very expensive. About $85, wasted. And spent about 1 day removing the bumper and light fitting/housing and various other time consuming crap.

to switch from LHD to right hand drive you must pull open both headlights
and switch the projector plate over...

sum1 has done this in the DIY before

need some more feedback from projector/angel eye users
planning on getting some for the misses FD

its safer if you just buy the RHD ones off ebay. cheap and the price difference with LHD is not much.
